BP-2010E measures blood pressure in larger laboratory animals by the oscillometric method. A high-precision pressure sensor follows the pulse wave so the system can report SBP, MBP, DBP, and heart rate for dogs, monkeys, pigs, rabbits, sheep, guinea pigs, and similar species.
How it measures
BP-2010E uses the oscillometric method with a high-precision pressure sensor. It is intended for larger experimental animals—dogs, monkeys, pigs, rabbits, sheep, guinea pigs, and others—and a range of cuff sizes is available so the cuff can match the limb.

Operation
The instrument can run on its own with a 4.3-inch LCD, so readings can be viewed without a computer. After inflation, results are typically available within 10–15 seconds and are stored automatically. Multiple measurements can be averaged for stability. Connected by USB, the software shows the blood-pressure waveform in real time and supports storage, editing, and analysis. Offline work uses the SD card. Printed results carry an MD5 fingerprint for GLP-oriented traceability.
